Courts: 7 Outdoor & 3 Indoor courts.
Please note some matches may be scheduled indoors. Please also note that when playing indoors, players must change in the foyer into clean tennis shoes with white or non-marking soles. Water is the only fluid allowed and must be in non-spill containers.

  1. This tournament will be held under the Rules and Regulations of Tennis Ireland and the Code of Conduct will be strictly enforced.
  2. Entries for all events close on Friday 21st July 2017 at 9.00 pm and should be addressed to: Tournament Committee, Shankill Tennis Club, Quinns Rd, Dublin 18. All entries must be on an official form and must be accompanied by the appropriate fee.
  3. Draws will be held on Wedesday 26th July and times of play will be available from 6.00 pm on Thursday 27th July at
  4. Except for the Under 10 age round robins, singles matches will be best of 3 tiebreak sets and the advantage point will be played.
  5. All doubles events will be played with a champions tiebreak instead of a 3rd set.
  6. Play will commence at 9.00 am and competitors should report to the referee 15 minutes before their scheduled time of play.
  7. OmniCourt Pro/Tiger Turf courts will be in use. Indoor courts may also be used. When playing indoors, players must change in the foyer into clean tennis shoes with white or non-marking soles. Water is the only fluid allowed and must be in non-spill containers.
  8. Predominantly white tennis clothing and footwear must be worn.
  9. Wilson tennis balls will be used.
  10. Competitors may enter at most two singles events and one doubles event, except Under 18s who may also enter the mixed doubles.
  11. Any Under 10 who wishes to enter the Under 12 singles may only do so with a passport from Tennis Ireland. Any Under 9 who wishes to enter the Under 10 singles may only do so with a passport from Tennis Ireland.
  12. The Under 10 singles will be played as round robins on Saturday 29th July. All Under 10 competitors must be prepared to play on this day. Matches will start at 2 games each. Green spot balls will be used.
  13. Except for the Under 10 age group, Plate events will be held, weather permitting.
  14. Entrants must be under the stipulated age on 31st December 2016.
  15. All competitors must include their TI PIN. This is obligatory and can be obtained online from Tennis Ireland.
  16. All competitors should be prepared to play more than one match a day and must be available to play when scheduled.
